How to Find Low-Competition Keywords Without Guessing
Low competition is not a magic metric. The practical goal is to find searches where the current results leave a credible opening for your site.

Define relevance first
Start with the topics your site can legitimately cover. A weak SERP in an unrelated market is not an opportunity; it is a distraction. Build seed topics from audience problems, questions, comparisons, use cases and decisions.
Generate long-tail candidates
Expand each seed with long-tail modifiers, questions, autocomplete ideas and related queries. Long-tail searches often reveal narrower intent, making it easier to assess whether your page can be the best destination.
Inspect the actual SERP
Open the top results. Note the strength and topical relevance of ranking domains, whether forums appear, whether titles directly address the query, and whether the dominant page type matches what the searcher seems to want.
Look for multiple opportunity signals
One lower-authority result is interesting, but several independent signals are more persuasive. LowFruits' own guidance recommends looking for at least two weak spots when using its SERP analysis.
Prioritize the shortlist
Prioritize keywords that combine business relevance, distinct intent, an approachable result page and a realistic content plan. Search volume matters, but a smaller query you can win can be more valuable than a large query you cannot.
